The best method to clean a car window is to always clean the bodywork first – you don’t want dirty water dripping onto clean windows. Clean windows in a z motion, starting from the top. 2. You may decide to use a ready-made glass cleaning liquid***, however we recommend creating your own natural solution. Mix together 1/3 white vinegar**, 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 distilled water into a spray bottle. You can also opt to add a squeeze of lemon juice or a few drops of essential oils for a fresh, clean scent. This concoction is ideal to remove not only dirt and marks, but also any grease or oil.***
3. Never wash windows in direct sunlight, as they dry too quickly, leaving unsightly smears. Aim to clean your windows on a cool, yet dry day for the best results. Similarly, avoid washing your windows on a day that’s too cold, not only will it be uncomfortably cold for you, but the liquids may freeze when spread thinly on the window pane!
